A few situations led to us making these delicious little cookies. For one we had lots of ripe bananas, two its time to get ready for back to school and three it was a rainy day. This recipe is very easy to make with your little ones, mashing the bananas, and pouring and mixing the ingredients are easy ways the children can help out.
Here are the ingredients;
- 4 bananas
- 1 tsp cin
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup chopped dates
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 cup oats
we also added in some chopped apricots, dark chocolate, and pumpkin seeds
Mash the bananas and add all the other ingredients, put tbl sized blobs onto a greased pan, bake @ 350 for about 12 mins
They are especially delicious warm but are great at any temp, they also freeze very well.
Pop them into your child’s lunch, they are the perfect snack for school and are allergen free.
